Planning to go?
After arrival, first register with the police, then within 3 working days apply at any upravna enota (administrative unit). The Logatec centre provides first-night reception. New ZZZRO-1 cards carry no printed expiry date — they are valid as long as protection lasts (currently until 04.03.2028). Remember: absences from Slovenia over 15 days must be reported, and prolonged absence may lead to withdrawal of the status. From 05.08.2026 new male applicants must submit military-obligation documentation.
