You can apply at the nearest police administration/station (policijska uprava/postaja) for your place of residence or online via croatia4ukraine.mup.hr — the form is filled in Latin script only. Bring 2 colour photos 3×3.5 cm and copies of documents. For current holders the status was extended AUTOMATICALLY until 04.03.2027; in-person card verification at police stations ran 26.02–30.05.2026, but latecomers do NOT lose the status. On 30.07.2026 the EU Council extended protection in the EU until 04.03.2028 — expect a corresponding Croatian government decision.
