Planning to go?
In Malta everything starts with an IPA appointment: without booking in advance (by email or phone) you will not be received. Bring ORIGINAL documents and printed copies of your passport pages. Applications are filed in person, including children. WARNING: under IPA rules, travelling back to Ukraine entails forfeiting temporary protection in Malta — the status will be withdrawn. Following the EU Council decision of 30.07.2026, Malta’s Home Affairs Ministry confirmed that temporary-protection permits are issued until 04.03.2028.
