Temporary protection registration, ARC number, social support and authority contacts. Confirm current benefit amounts and conditions with Social Welfare Services.
Entry: with a biometric passport — visa-free up to 90 days (by air or sea; Cyprus is outside Schengen, no EU land borders). Without a biometric passport an entry visa is required — apply no earlier than 3 months and no later than 3 days before the trip (via a Cyprus embassy). For protection registration, expired passports, internal passports and other documents are accepted. NOTE: since 05.08.2026 new applicants (men with military duty) must prove lawful departure from Ukraine — a border-crossing stamp or an official document confirming exemption from/compliance with military obligations.
